My biography of my growing journey started back in
1986 and in 1988 I was growing on my own. In 1988 it was next to impossible to find a grow light.

In June 2005, a major accident left me with extensive injuries, including a broken neck, teeth, skull, hip, left elbow, several bone fractures, and herniated discs. Although the bones would heal, the severity of the injuries left Berfelo with nerve damage and chronic pain. He was prescribed pharmaceuticals for pain management, depression, and insomnia. At one point and time, he was taking 32 pills a day to manage his symptoms.

I had been growing my own medicine for years and it became legal through Health Canada,I used cannabis as my medicine for chronic pain control. I have been published on several occasions on how cannabis helps with chronic pain, standardization of the medicine, standardization of growing and other related topics throughout local papers.

In 2009 I started my back to work program working with WorkSafe B.C. as a legal cannabis educator /advocate. Working with their team, I was able to standardize my medical grow and move on to winning several Medical Cannabis Cups in Canada. In 2011 I won my first Cannabis Cup, 1st place for private grower in Canada, Treating Yourself Expo and in 2012 2nd place, theses were big accomplishments for me and others in the medical community. This led to publication on standardized medical growing and published in medical journals around the world for natural pain management, Pub Meb
and Case Journal.
